Symbols and History

When NAVA held its 50th annual meeting in 2016 in San José, California, it had grown to become the largest organization of flag enthusiasts and scholars in the world, promoting excellence in vexillology and camaraderie for those interested in flags.  Its organizational symbols help advance its mission and identity.
NAVA welcomes all flag scholars, designers, collectors, conservators, educators, merchants, manufacturers, historians, and hobbyists to join in opportunities for learning, networking, and enjoyment of flags.
