The NAVA 48 Flag: The flag was designed by Hugh L. Brady, based on designs submitted by members Anthony Burton and Zachary Harden. The flag was drawn by Jeremy Keith Hammond of Bath, Maine. It is a heraldic flag, described as Per fess dancetty Or and Purpure, each point ending in a fleur-de-lis, a crescent overall counter-changed.

The Whitney Smith Banquet
The Whitney Smith Banquet was held in the Fleur De Lis Room at the Palace Café on Canal Street in the New Orleans French Quarter. A past president's streamer was introduced and a display of Dr. Smith's personal flag was introduced at the dinner. Hugh Brady gave the keynote address where he reflected on the progress of the Association since he took office in 2008. See the NAVA 48 Dinner Program.
